13:02 - WB L501 with CN 3033/CN 8870 thru Charlotte after working Cory Yard. 3033 was on L507 and 8103 was solo on L500 previously.

13:33 - EB Q116 with CN 8937/CN 8870 thru Charlotte - all racks today.

14:22 - EB A492 with BNSF 3848/CN 2243 thru Durand on M2

CN #5681 from yesterday's random W958 visit went WB a few hours ago with a decent small number of mixed freight.

It returned lhf EB on mp205 cam at 19:07:39 with just a centerbeam of lumber and two covered coil cars. Taking them to Snow Yard.

WB X491 is UP 2592 solo. As of 10:15 they are working Durand Yard. Haven’t seen CN this power short in MI in a while.

LansingRailfan, why would CN be "Power Short" again? Maybe they shouldn't have "Scrapped" all those Dash8/Cowls!!!! I think there are more in storage. Would they ever be considered to come back? I know we have IC "Blue Devil" C40-8W #2466 and BCOL "Cowl" C40-8M #4609 running somewhere on the CN system!!!!

NB 515 with 5430 running light just went past MP 22.5 following a late Amtrak 350 up the Hill. It went SB this morning with just a boxcar and tank car if I recall.

I heard what I presume was 116 going through downtown Pontiac around 3:30 pm.

I stayed last night (4-15) in Port Huron (at hotel lobby computer...I don't post here on phone but can check periodically)! Now, we saw an eastbound train last night around 7:45 p.m. + at 16th Street station! OK, the train, with CN SD75I #5644 and ES44AC #2779 (ex Citi Rail), stopped! I think the drawbar was broke on a boxcar! It uncoupled and stopped part of the train east of 16th! Conductor rode a boxcar and was picked up by a van shortly! Most of the train was left behind near the switch! They were going to back the train in the yard, but we left at 8:30! What exactly happened? They blocked the mainline for a while!!!!
