Maybe CSX #4003 is a replacement for CSX #4384? I believe CSX #4384 had engine issues so they need to tow to Chicago. Definitely 8096 is in Lansing

On Fri 09/30 he had to cut out his #3 & #5 traction motors on the CSX #4384 due to the #5 traction motor burning out.

That was Saturday morning L30230 sat off 8096 at Lansing. Sunday afternoon, L302-02 set off 4003 as I suspected to run with 5500 on L305 Monday afternoon and was correct on this assumption. L305-03 arrived at Howell at 17:00 with 5500+4003 and left 35 cars for GLC in the Howell pass, and picked up 34 cars from GLC out of the Howell pass. Currently L305 is meeting L303 in Fowlerville at 18:40 after picking up cars left at Ogihara going east. Should have 51 cars into Lansing. As soon as L303 gets east of Howell, GLC who is already here will come over onto CSX and pick up the cars L305 just set off.
L303-03 by Howell at 19:03 with 30 some cars. 5333+3383+4384 on the head end. GLC now getting permission to come over onto CSX.
C800-03 @ 19:19 copied his EC1 & is proceeding eastward from Wells mp CG41.4 to the West Olive, Mi power plant mp CGP1.0 with BNSF engines #8554 + #8556 + #9976 & 130 loaded coal cars & rear dpu BNSF engine #9308.
