Tom, 338 is indeed the correct engine number. I was just about to say 388 but luckily I went back and checked my footage of L303-12 from yesterday.

I didn't hear a single thing either, even after sitting at WE Brighton for an hour or two today. L305 could be clearly heard well past Howell.
Looks like my car count for L303-13 was off by 10! 556 axles computes to 136 cars, which is what I counted when looking back at my footage from today.
I'll correct my previous post.

Thank you, I usually assume it will be the same pair of engines returning back to Grand Rapids. But, I can't see the train, and I have no clue if maybe some issue may have occurred that would have prevented the #338 to run, or, maybe it's time for that engine's quarterly inspection. So, I have to wait until the next day when L303 performs its job briefing with the RN to know for sure what had arrived for engines on L302 (if I didn't find an earlier post for them)
