3/10/22 09:33 27 degrees at CN MP 202 Charlotte as CN 5600, UP 5358, CN 5291, and CN 5441 power Train 501 thru Charlotte

CN 5600/UP 5358 came into Flint from Toronto on an E271. Lately, there seems to be at least one E271 a day for GM in Flint from Canada.

EB X388 on the single track around Swartz Creek lining thru Flint

CSX's D711 (supposedly the symbol hasn't changed) job is lined off of M1 at Belsay, Then X388 should proceed.

WB A491 "in the dark zone" between Okemos and Hope somewhere.

EB M394 lining from Walton off of M2 as far as Potterville where it will stay on M2 and meet the A491 somewherez

EB E274 will follow EB M394 east; then EB M356 will proceed to Cory Yard.

CSX's D711 (supposedly the symbol hasn't changed) job is lined off of M1 at Belsay, Then X388 should proceed.

Maybe it’s because CN uses L symbols in their locals and they don’t want to confuse a CSX L3** ID with a CN local train ID

18:18 - EB A450 was combined with EB M356, running under the A450 symbol. Train will drop a long cut of racks at Cory Yard plus some mixed freight for Lansing before picking up any EB cars plus loaded racks for Lang Yard

17:23 - EB M356 by the 205 cam with CN 5727/CN 5773 and now has some head end cars that will keep the train going further east. The racks will drop at Cory but unknown if it continues to Flint or to Pontiac. There’s a 3-pack of intermodal cars on the head end.

EB P364 is still in Chicago and showing 2.5 hrs late to New Buffalo.

21:23 - WB w unknown power, likely three units, is lined from Flint to Durand and will enter the yard using the Port Huron Wye. This is G825, a loaded grain train off of the GLC/Anderson’s in Oakley. 102 cars bound for one of Parrish & Heimbecker’s facilities in western Canada.

P364 arrived to East Lansing station on M2 mp223 just about the time M396 east cleared there M1 at 23:38.

Interesting to see loaded frame cars in Pontiac now. Since GM's Yellow Cab plant shut down in 2009 rarely do I see frames go by my house on the south Holly. Before then that is all we seemed to have, frames and hicubes and autoracks on the Holly Sub trains.

And for some reason Train 450 also had a few cars of loaded frame cars going SB just now too. Wonder if they were the same ones, which doesn't make any sense (but since when do railroad operations make sense?).
