CP AC4000CWs used in Unstoppable (2010)

Unread post by Blaze06 »

So if y’all are familiar with the movie Unstoppable from 2010 (I highly recommend it if you haven’t seen it), there is a runaway train with two AC44s. The triple 7 (777) leading and another less talked about unit numbered 767. These two engines were both used in the film and are most definitely the highlight of the whole thing! However, there is a catch. You see the crew used four locomotives with all four of them being CP AC4400CWs numbered 9777, 9782, 9751, and 9758 which can still be seen in an active service today with the impending AC4400CWM rebuild program looming. I would go into more fruition in the rest of the history but I’ll leave it to this article to tell all along with some CP AC44s that have been in other movies!
