May 2022 Obituaries

Unread post by ~Z~ »

Since Steve(trnwatcher) was very active on this part of the forum, seems only fitting to post about his death here. Passed away at age 61 this morning. Really sorry to hear he's gone. He was a very regular attendee of our various gatherings, whether it be our annual message board meetups, dinners that he organized, tippy cow/culver's ice cream socials, or trips to Indiana. Visited him at his condo last fall. Such a kind guy, always going above and beyond to help others.

Obituary - visitation 5/4 6-8pm. I plan to attend if anyone else is also thinking of going: https://www.mkdfuneralhome.com/obituari ... en-f-shick

Former MSU basketball star Adreian Payne reportedly dead at 31

At this time, the cause of Payne's death is not clear.

Payne played at Michigan State from 2010-11 to 2013-14, a three-year starter who helped the Spartans win two Big Ten titles. He would go on to be drafted 15th overall by the Atlanta Hawks in 2014.

His NBA career lasted four seasons, including stops with the Timberwolves and Magic, after which he began playing overseas. Payne spent last season with Juventus Utena of the Lithuanian Basketball League.

Andy Fletcher, keyboardist and one of the founding members of Depeche Mode, dead today at the young age of 60. I’ve seen DM in concert six times, including three times in one year, and it won’t be the same without Fletch on stage at future concerts. :-(
