Tech Support for railfans (Railfan support)

Unread post by David Collins »

I thought I’d do something a little different for my YouTube channel. If you’ve ever heard of wired magazine they’ve done a series called *insert profession* support on YouTube. For Example: Gordon Ramsey=Chef Support

I’m doing Railfan support, but awnsering questions about railfanning, model trains etc. if anyone wants to ask any questions. Just throw them below!

Thanks for taking on my question. I'd like to know more about the cars that pass through Moline on Grand Elk. There's various hoppers, center beams, and boxcars that go through north and south. Where is the origination and destination of each type of car?

Do you have an approximate timeline for when research will be complete and when the youtube video will be released on this topic?

In the next few weeks, I’m trying to shoot for before Labor Day weekend, I’ve got A LOT going on in my life and after storyboarding it it’s actually going to be very complex to edit since I’m including many picture in pictures/green screen etc, I’ll make sure It’ll have its own thread, I’m not backing out of this 1. So I don’t get banhammered and 2. I really like the enthusiasm and questions asked about trains by my non trainwatching friends.

Give me a car number and I can tell you the origination and destination.
