Openings come up every couple of years. I wouldn't want to make it a full 30 year occupation, but I'd definitely take a LOA for a year or two if I were qualified. Definitely get to see the country and be around some interesting people. I wonder if you're under contract for a year or two? They probably wouldn't want someone quitting mid-season on them.

If the show has a two year tour, I'd think that the contract would be two years. I can't see changing TMs halfway through the show if no one else leaves/joins the group
