Love the shots of the freighter and Badger together....I love watching the ships pass by while camping up there in the State Park.

Thanks Michael. I'm not sure if it was visible in Michigan. I seen it from North Central Iowa.

Excellent photos!
I also like how the photos 'tell the story' of the Badger setting off on a voyage...because there will come a time when that no longer happens. But for now, wow!...Next best thing to being there!

Thanks Mick. There's been plenty of talk lately of this being the Badger's last season if they can't stop discharging coal ash into the lake. It's always a beautiful sight to see the carferry sail away. A few times I've even seen a guy all dressed up playing bagpipes going past the piers.
