Looks an awful lot like home to me. Looking down on Thurmond, WV. East end of Rush Run siding and west end of double track at the coal dock. Our winter home is several miles down the New River at Hawks Nest (Ansted), and I spend a lot of time down in Thurmond. Gotta love the C&O mainline and the spectacular territory it runs through.

Yepper! It's PON Junction on the Belt Line looking east towards the Romeo Sub. It's south of E Walton Blvd and east of Price Street in Pontiac, Oakland County. Yes, definately Thurmond, WV along the New River. Amtrak train #50 and #51 operates Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with stop at Thurmond, WV both eastbound and westbound.
