The bridge has been replaced with a concrete structure angling from the far side to the right as it crosses the river. The road is still there though the shore is over grown now. Both tracks are there. The siding is used occasionally as a switching lead for the towns lone rail customer. The main sees freight traffic Monday through Friday.

Interesting bits. The box cars appear to be on arch bar trucks. The MKT car nots it has air brakes. The CB&Q car just above the shed roof says it is a forty foot boxcar.

My initial thought was N. Maple Rd. over the Huron River on the northwest side of Ann Arbor, as the layout is very similar. But then I read the description and...nope!

Newaygo. This is the original River St bridge. The crossing is off M37 as you come down the hill into town.

The depot and track in the fore ground are gone. The curve the train in the background is on is still in service.

I have absolutely no clue where this is, but the goat or ram or whatever it is pulling the dude around makes me think its up north

I'm guessing that goat and cart are in front of the old White Cloud, Michigan, Pere Marquette Depot. It is on the west side of Michigan's lower peninsula, north of Grand Rapids.

Yes, indeed, it's White Cloud in Newago County. Final run of the remaining passenger train nos. 25/26 between Grand Rapids and Traverse City was made on October 29, 1966.

White Cloud is correct. The track along the depot went south west to Freemont. The curve the train is on heads south for Newaygo and Grand Rapids.

Some additional views.

My first guess was the 400 State Trail in Wisconsin with an old mile post showing miles to Minneapolis but the mileage does not work out. Second guess was the Canal Feeder Trail in Sydney OH but again I can't make the mileage work out.

It's in a state in-between the two states you mentioned. I have biked the canals around Sydney a few times though, so good guess.

Then it must be the Erie Lacawana Bike Trail, 241 miles from Marion.

Yes sireee, indeed its just west of Griffith, IN on the old Erie Lackawanna RR ROW. My best railfan friend and I were there in March, 2019. Final run of the remaining old Erie Lackawanna RR passenger trains 5 and 6 the Lake Cities between Chicago and Hoboken, NJ, were made on January 5 and 6, 1970.
