Where Is It?
Re: Where Is It?
Hey ~Z~, my guess to your second picture is Corunna
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

Re: Where Is It?
So Corunna is not correct. AARR is on the right track though, thinking it's from a recent bike ride.

Re: Where Is It?
It was a lucky guess. Corunna and Carland were my first choices. I picked Ovid because I knew ~Z~ biked there recently.

Oops. I didn’t see Z’s reply.

Re: Where Is It?
I can still remember watching an Ann Arbor RS-1 switch that elevator back in the early 60's. Looks like switching it now would be pretty impossible!
Re: Where Is It?
Even into the early 1990's they were loading box cars with bagged beans. And IIRC there was a small fertilizer transload here into the 2000's.

Yes indeed! North Star on the old Annie RR now GLC Final run of the old AA RR remaining passenger train between Toledo, OH and Boat Landing/Elberta, was made on July 19, 1950.
