Re: Where Is It?
When the view in the other direction shows a semi-trailer parked across both tracks, I would say service isn't very frequentConrailDetroit wrote: ↑Wed Jun 29, 2022 7:08 amNegative, in Detroit. See upper left corner of photo. This track does not seem to be worked regularly and seems to be extremely difficult to see movement. Although, the branch line sees regular movement by 2 different railroads.

The facility is worked from the other end, looking at older pictures. But very rarely observed.

Thanks ConrailDetroit. I figured you would know the location and you posted some good clues.

Compiling all the hints
Is this near the Chrysler loading ramps? Negative......but if extremely lucky, a foamer would see an NS engine on this track.

Is it on NS's spur to Home Depot Distribution Center? Negative, in Detroit. See upper left corner of photo. This track does not seem to be worked regularly and seems to be extremely difficult to see movement. Although, the branch line sees regular movement by 2 different railroads.

First guess correct. No I haven't been there. But the clues all pointed there, at least to me.

Re: Where Is It?
Indeed, its Frederic, MI siding on the LSRC ex MC ex NYC RR looking south along old US-27 in Frederic Township, Crawford County. Final run of the old NYC RR remaining passenger train 394/395 between Bay City and Mackinaw City, was made on September 3, 1962.
