Where Is It?
Re: Where Is It?
You are correct. That section is used to store cars. There are no customers in Chesaning.
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

Spent a day out in Tecumseh over the weekend and drove right by there so it was fresh on my mind. Been by there at least a hundred times.

Re: Where Is It?
Maybe better to use landscape mode for landscape pictures?
That means use a horizontal picture. The sky looks really nice but is absolutely useless unless you wanted a image of the sky.
To help find the location, I enlarge the image.
The resolution doesn't even help me figure out which track the cantilever signal is for.
As I have stated before, it's better to use a PC to do this than your phone.
Take the screen shot and then crop the image.

Re: Where Is It?
I was wondering if you or Anti Social Railfan would get it, you are correct good sir, This is Charlotte Junction just outside of downtown Charlotte, for those who don't know, The R-Line on the left (From Augusta) Merges or Diverges (Depending how you look at it), onto the NS Charlotte District here. Pretty nice spot for videography and photography.Buster Manning wrote: ↑Thu Apr 28, 2022 11:01 amused to be my old stomping grounds too......I forget the name of this Jct., but I used to go thru here when I worked trains 19 and 20 btw Charlotte and Atlanta....looking west (timetable south) from Donald Ross Rd. on the west side of Charlotte, NC

Re: Where Is It?
Doesn't look like Seney. Compass shows it's more of a north/south running railline here. Is this shot in the UP?

Re: Where Is It?
I mean South Boardman, GLC. There should be a team track and dock close by.
