It was announced this evening that Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Gary Rossington has died.

Not sure if this should go here. My furry best friend, bandit, was peacefully put to sleep this afternoon. Bandit was always such a happy dog, frolicking in the snow, jumping in leaf piles, and running like there’s no tomorrow. He was only a year old, but issues with him and aggression around others made me and my family make the extremely sad and upsetting decision we had to make.

Rest in Piece Bandit, the best saint bernard ever, 1/1/22-3/6/23

Sorry to hear of your loss, David. Tough enough to lose them to old age, but these circumstances make it even harder. RIP Bandit.

Laverne Bleifuss, the art director for MODEL RAILROADER magazine from 1960 to 2000, passed recently, at the age of 87.
