Well I was right, the Veronica industry lead was the subject of a prior Where Is It by Michael.
I was thinking the current image by ConrailDetroit was also a previous Where Is It.
Apparently not but that location was discussed before with an image provided.

Is this on a former GTW line, perhaps Dequindre Cut Greenway area?

Realizing what you are referencing may be different than what I am referencing...

The track in the foreground was part of a Michigan Central Freight House/team tracks.
Across the way, roughly north of where the building is, was a Grand Trunk Freight House/team tracks.
Sourced from Sanborn Map of Detroit 1910

Mistakenly, this would have been on a former Conrail predecessor. The reason for error is a hint

Add the LS&MS for a hint.
That's 3 different railroads back in 1910.

We just did that one not all that long ago, I want to say around Halloween. It was the first one I recognized, that's why I remember it.

It's cold in Michigan, so let's take a trip to a warmer climate and figure out where this is. CSX recently had a derailment near here, and this caboose is located in a state bordering the Atlantic Ocean.

Ashburn Georgia along US41. Looks like you were standing on the west side of the caboose.
Correct.
