On the former CN Newmarket Sub, now owned by Metrolinx, various Barrie Line GO Trains pass the new flyover under construction at Wallace St. After the flyover is completed, the diamonds at Davenport where the line crosses the CP North Toronto Sub will be removed.

Another well done report and pictures, CRD.

The passenger train running in-between the buildings is a great shot.

I also like the picture with the ratty old CN GP38-2's in the background.
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

The grand union at Spadina and King.
Despite having a much larger tram network, Melbourne only has one grand union.
It was the bane of the drivers due to the greater than zero odds that the trolley would dewire.
Not a problem since they converted to pantographs.

Have you seen that VIA now has to use a buffer car at the front and back of their heritage stainless car consists?

Negative, if referring to the Budd Cars.

I'm not sure but I believe VIA also uses some non-Budd heritage cars.
At least that's how a couple of stories worded it.

Really cool stuff. Never railfanned much in Toronto but thanks for showing some locations I had never seen before.
