Deshler, Ohio 1/16/22

Wow! What a day in Deshler, another rare power frenzy, lots of EMD leaders, hornshows, etc. here’s some of my photos, the video will come out tonight most likely:

Picture 1: UP SD70AH #8997 makes tons of noise on the horn as it leads CSX K414 (?) through Deshler with a CSX SD70MACe in tow

Picture 2: Creel and Ottensmeyer serve as Dpu’s on CSX I142

Picture 3: I was just about to leave when I saw that K596 was stopped down the line. I had seen the train earlier with a interesting lashup, a SD70MACe with the CSX.com logo and a brand new CM44AH was powering it. I pulled up next to the train to find it parked & crewless. I managed to get some pretty good shots of the thing.

I’ll link the video in the chat when it’s uploaded.
