Multiple sources on my end alongside this article by Trains Magazine have confirmed that the Kansas City-Detroit RoadRailer will cease to exist at the end of August. The last eastbound (from Kansas City) will depart on the 24th, and the last westbound (from Oakwood-Detroit) on the 25th.
Tl;dr: The roadrailer trailers are essentially falling apart, they’re old and have way outlived their service lives. Plus the new triplecrown container service from KC-Toledo.

Off by a couple of days. Don't expect them after the 22nd of August.
The dispatcher is cool.

APpreciate the response, you had some good info.
It was a last minute extension, they were supposed to be the 22nd, but it was extended to the 24th.
