Cars vs Train

I don't know details, but my guess is people driving too fast for road conditions and slide into the crossing to hit, or get hit by, what would appear to be the LSRC train between Midland and Saginaw (Z145)

The railroad crossing is in the middle of the intersection there.

A car accident occurred this morning. The damaged car wasn't moved in time and was hit by the train.

Yet another in a long line of car-train collisions that could have easily been prevented by calling the emergency number on the blue plaque.
