M trains Grand Rapids Sub
Starting this morning (June 4th, 2022) on CSX's Grand Rapids sub-division the Q trains are now designated as being M trains starting with the M327-04 (formally known as the Q327-04).

CSX must have a department dedicated to changing train symbols
Like many big companies, they change what can easily be changed, the stuff that really needs to be changed being obfuscated... they hope.

EXACTLY! My god, the stuff they used to put up around the system to RALLY THE TROOPS were asinine at best and juvenile at worst. OY!

Man I would’ve lost it then! I poke fun at all the grousing about symbol changes but the D to L changes w new numbers, even/odd switch was a pain in the arse for sure.
