McGrew Yard

Unread post by Dan Cluley »

I know that McGrew was the name for the CSX yard on the North side of Flint. Just curious if Lake States calls it that, or does it have a different name these days?

Yes, Lake State from everything I've seen still calls it McGrew.

North of Carpenter Rd is Coldwater Yard (named after the street that passes over the northern entrance to it).

The yard south of Carpenter is the actual McGrew.
