GLC's Traverse run with large transformer

Unread post by MIGN-Todd »

Surprised it has not been mentioned on here (that I can find) then again, I didn't look too hard. Last week, GLC brought in a depressed center well car carrying a huge transformer load. The sub station along Keystone Rd. south of Cass in Traverse City, was the receiver. As of Friday night, it was still on the well car on the spur along with two other flat cars used for idlers/spacers. I assume Elmer's got the job to take it off. They've been hitting TC late at night for the past several weeks so I didn't see it until after it had been dropped off the next morning. Just FYI
