Who receives reefers in West Michigan?

In recent months, I have been seeing a lot more of them on Q326/327. I remember hearing that Hanson has started using rail again, so some of them are headed to the West Michigan Railroad in Hartford. Are there other customers who would receive reefers via 326/327?

There is a place between Grand Rapids and Lansing that receives refrigerated box cars.

Twin City Foods in Lake Odessa. Served by D707. Cars come from GR on D706 and dropped in Lansing.

Does Michigan Natural Storage still get reefers?

Hanson Logistics in Hartford (WMI), Michigan Natural in Wyoming (CSX), and Twin City Foods in Lake Odessa (CSX). WMI gets the UP/ARMN cars, MNS gets a mix of Cryotrans and JRSX leasers, and Twin Cities gets BNSF and Cryotrans.

Thanks! I see the UP/ARMN cars frequently. WMI has done a good job of resurrecting that line.

Fresh Solutions in White Pigeon used to get ARMN reefers with potatoes but I haven't seen any action there in the last couple of years.

I’m glad you mentioned Fresh Solution, GAP (hi, by the way!!). You can find Fresh Solutions potato products at Meijer and I always wonder if they arrive by rail. Maybe not
