Just got back from Romulus; saw no one there. Was there from about 800-915 or thereabouts. Saw three trains pass by -- two southbounds (One a short intermodal, think it was Q-131) and a general freight, and an eastbound general freight headed by two CP locomotives.
Really loved the horn on the southbound general freight!
Also, the Burger King at Wayne and Goddard (Kind of across from Jimmy Johns) has a note in the door saying it's only open 1030-1700 today. Found that out the hard way, when I tried to go there for breakfast!

Really, it's about the only thing that's left downtown anymore, besides the drug store about a block down.LansingRailFan wrote: ↑Mon May 31, 2021 9:55 amlol I always make Landing Strip jokes on fb when people post they are at Romulus

It was great meeting you. I hope it picked up for you guys; I thought I heard a couple of horns from the tracks as I pulled into my driveway.

CP 2240 was to meet 141 at Milan. It is 30 minutes from Milan to Romulus.
Re: Romulus anyone?
A couple of us got there about 1640. A woman with a young boy were on hand and indicated we just missed you. Stayed till about 1715, nothing else. Saw WB D705 passing Plymouth. Watched him again at Napier Road. 4 engines and about 125 cars. All engines on head end, think two of them may have been dead in tow to be dropped somewhere.
