Where are the P-42s
I took the train to my grandmothers on 6/13/06 and to my suprise I saw B32WH 504 on the head of 371! They told me it was due to a power failure the previous night, but Every night ive seen the train since 6/13 Ive seen B32WH's leading 371 and 370. So im figuring all of the P42s out of chicago are either in california or on the wolverines. It is rare to see B32WH and I suggest you guys seize the opportunity and get out and see them. And by the way I have to disagree they look better in Phase IV paint than the pepsi can paint.
You say trestle... I say Trussell!!!
I saw a B32-8HW in Mendota,IL. a few weeks ago; unit #519, black smoke pouring out of the stack, really sick! A photo can be found here: http://railzfan.rrpicturearchives.net/p ... %20519.JPG. 519 was on the California Zephyr train #6. And yes, I too like the “Pepsi Can” scheme a lot more ![Very Happy :D](https://railroadfan.com/phpbb/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

No, he said he liked Phase IV paint better than the Pepsi Can scheme. I agree, I love Phase IV.Railzfan wrote:I saw a B32-8HW in Mendota,IL. a few weeks ago; unit #519, black smoke pouring out of the stack, really sick!
