My first ES44 thing today

Unread post by CAT345C »

Saw my first ES44AC on CP X500-13 today. I thought they had a cut back on each corner of the nose but that must be EMD's SD70MACe or SD70M-2? I dunno I like the old names, SD40, SD50 SD60, and good ol' C40-8

Yup, that's a GE ES44AC. The new EMD's are SD70ACe's and SD70M-2s, which have the noses you are talking about.
