I saw a video of railfanning in new Buffalo and it got me wondering how many trains went through there. I do know its Ex NYC and Ex PM in New Buffalo. On the Amtrak Michigan Line I know they run 8 trains a day and I saw something about 2 locals? NS B01 and NS B05? are those every now and then or daily? And on the Ex PM there is 2 Amtrak's and 2 CSX this iis what I had come up with train wise
AMTK 350
AMTK 351
AMTK 352
AMTK 353
AMTK 354
AMTK 355
AMTK 364
AMTK 365
AMTK 370
AMTK 371
CSX M326
CSX M327
NS B01?
NS B05?

CSX still runs coal up the GR sub to Port Sheldon for Consumers Energy close to daily

Re: New Buffalo, MI
On a typical day in New Buffalo you'd see M326, M327, P371, P370, and likely a loaded coal train and an empty coal train on CSX. On the Amtrak side, there are the 6 Wolverines and 2 Bluewaters. NS local B05 runs up the Michigan Line 2 or 3 days a week. B01 is an extra symbol that they sometimes use for grain trains for Decatur, which run as-needed. Keep in mind there is no single spot to sit in New Buffalo to be able to see both CSX and Amtrak/NS, and you might have several hours of nothing.

Why are you not looking at the Wiki for this? All of your answers are already posted there...

The Wiki sucks. It's fine and good they listed every possible train in the system, but would be nice if there was some Michigan Sub-sections in there.

Rubbish! Just hang out on the shoulder of the WB overpass of 94 and you’ll catch all the action of both railroads.
