Marquette running today?

Unread post by Pete Mayor »

Gonna be in White Cloud this afternoon and evening. Can anyone enlighten me to if and when I can hope to see MQT grace me with its presence?

They usually get into or near Grand Rapids right around noon, so I'd say they'd be going through White Cloud right around now or at least soon.

Marquette Released their EC-1 over CSX at 4:12. Sounded like GLLX 3003 leading, but it was kinda staticy...

Found 2008 switching a unit train of CSX Grain Express cars at the elevator in Newaygo about 6:45. Not photo worthy but cool to watch.

I'm with you, Pete. I enjoy watching switching moves too 8) I'm impressed how easy the engineers make it look when I know it takes an experienced hand to move the cars back and forth without derailing or damaging something.
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...

CSX puts the grain on the back of the manifest of the Ztrain. Ztrain was parked on the other side of the river while the crew spotted at MAC. Same Zcrew spots at MAC and S/O a geep from the consisit and take the rest of the train to Baldwin, unless they go on the law.
