59J grain train prepares to head west to pick up its train at Albion

I head to the depot and Amtrack departs east

AMTK and 59J meet east of the station

59J on the yard lead about to enter the main.

A friendly wave from the loco and they are off to Albion

Is 38J from the Yard in Wayne at the Ford Truck Plant, and the CSX Sag Sub MP/CH 90?

38J runs Elkhart to Jackson-Jackson to Wayne- Wayne to Jackson. aprox. mp 17on the Michigan line. Usually a few steel coils, a couple auto racks some lumber cars, auto parts cars?

Meet up with Nathan at the Jackson depot.....nothig happening so gave him the nickle tour of Jackson's rail operations. B16 heads in from Albion
we are out of position but get him in the yard. 5 Cars of Ethonal from Albion

Tuesday evening finds 38J entering the yard

Sunday afternoon hear 38J returning from Wayne told they would have to back in the yard as the Lansing local had east Jackson fouled up.

This is not from August but I will post it here Met Aleks June 8th at Jackson for an hour or so of fanning.

the crossing at M-50 McDevitt heading towards Napoleon off 127 south

A) who owns the line, i just looked on mapquest and it says Creek Railroad? I thought at one time it was CN, my thought were it was turn to NS after 1999 you know.

B) Who is getting served and who get what? i know theres that big steal recycle plant there they see any traffic?

I believe it's either MacSteel or Worthington Steel. Worthington gets steel coils and Mac gets steel bar.

I tried looking for this this morning but couldnt find it right away, and I was headed out the door for Fostoria.

The track for Macsteel and Worthington seems to get a little work each year, a few new ties and a little ballast.
