Does anyone one know if there are any trains that use the CN/IC Chicago sub north of 95th St. that are NOT transfer jobs between the various Chicago yards?
All the trains I've ever seen described were said to be transfer jobs. For through trains would they just send them around the city? That would make the most sense

Being able to route trains around Chicago was the reason for CN buying the EJ&E.

Yes, I know that. Does anyone know if all trains that go up by 16th street are just transfer jobs?

At a certain point, the line splits onto the Freeport Sub and Joliet Sub and both have their own variety of CN trains
