Fire at Beech Grove

Unread post by Jochs »

There was an overnight fire last night at Amtrak's Beech Grove shops. The fire(s) occurred in two buildings used to house paint and cleaning supplies.

I was actually at Beech Grove last month, and I happened to get a photo of the fire damaged area.

What's up with 822? Are any of the rebuilt P40DCs in service any more? IIRC they just sold some to CDOT.

It was in a truck-vs-train crash a little while back, front end is smashed up.
