CSX Employee Fatally Injured in Fostoria.

A CSX employee was fatally injured this morning while doing his work in the railyard in Fostoria.

Hearing he was riding on a shove and a tree fell onto the employee. That's some terrible timing.

It could even be quiet enough to almost not know anything was coming either... that could be as simple timing as looking down for 5 seconds before getting on the shove a mile back. That’s scary.

Well kinda, it didn't fall on him, but it was much worst than that

The impression I got was that he was riding a shove move and was impaled by tree branch which had fallen into the right of way. This caused fatal injuries. This impression is from discussions on other forums which discussed in incident and the issue of trees / branches near the ROW became a topic of conversation. Putting two and two together may give you the cause of death in this case.
