Wauseon
Is this a friendly town for rail-fanning? Any good recommendations for lodgings? Thanks for the help.
Re: Wauseon
You won’t have any problems. Depot in downtown is a great place. Can’t think of lodging at Wauseon.
Napoleon ten miles south has several of the chains. Archbold has a nice privately owned hotel
named Sauders.

At the turnpike 3.5 miles north of Wauseon depot there's a Days Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Magnuson Inn and Rodeway Inn.

I go to Wauseon on a pretty regular basis, as others have mentioned it's a really decent place with public parking on both sides of the NS line, and no hassles from the local police.
