Today I caught H708 around 11:45am working the McKinley siding picking up cars from FP Supply.

Then around 2:10pm a very late Q310 came south with CSX 443 in YN2 paint leading 7005 rebuild.

Of course I've been waiting on Q311, and it just snuck by me north through Mounds 3:35pm, I did not catch the power, but it sounded like CSX leader, definitely not a UP horn, so the UP's might be trailing.

Doesnt sound like too bad a day of railfanning for you. I didnt get to see if the UP’s were trailing today or not, but they most likely would’ve been trailing if they were. Csx would keep the original power on Q311 from Russel, and just add the power to the consist at parsons.

A rough day on the Scottslawn south end, H708 came south around 2pm with CSX 157 in YN2 paint solo on the train 21 cars. They've been sitting at Camp over an hour now as NS has a tie gang on the Dayton District. The crew is going to outlaw, so it sounds like they will have to back the train up to McKinley siding and break up the train to clear the main line.

So all Scottslawn trains should be holding for now, Q311 will be vary late today, has CSX 7005 rebuild leader, I will try to go see it whenever it finally comes north.

I got a loaded grain extra coming south today around 2:10pm with CSX 3469 & 32xx, didn't catch a symbol though.

Q311 just came north at 3:30pm had CSX 3098 & 3188 with a shorter train then usual.

Y103 with CSX 5392 & 5359 was waiting on the Buckeye Line north of CP Mounds, soon after Q311 cleared, they came on the Scottslawn connection to get cars off the Interstate Cold Storage spur, those engines should be the Q147 power later tonight.

It was dark for me to see the numbers on the locomotives of Q147 last night but it went into the siding at Marysville around 9:20pm, later than usual, not sure what it was meeting, maybe Q146, I happened to be driving by as it was heading in at a slow speed. It was two Gevo locomotives though, very good chance it was Y103’s power like you mentioned.

Today's Q311 came north through CP Mounds around 3:45pm, had 6 units on it, the 6th was GOOS 106, an ex-CSX GP15 still in dark future but logos painted over.

Yesterday's Q311 came north through Mounds around 3pm and had CSX 3248 leading & 8365 SD40 trailing 2nd of 2 units.

Today's Q311 just came north at 2:30pm, I missed it as I got home, the horn sounded different, so might be foreign power.

3 extras also used the Scottslawn Friday night, one train came south 8pm I missed it, but then an empty coal train came south around midnight looked like the U664 or U632, all black CSX coal cars, and a grain extra went north after 1am once that coal train made it to Parsons.

I was shocked to get 3 extras in a day, when most days there is none.

Q311 just came north through Mounds early around 12:15pm had CSX 3487 & 5396 and near the end of the train there's a cut of reefer cars from Interstate Cold Storage going back to UP, the last 1 is a vintage maroon SP reefer.

Today's Q311 running a little late, but it's good, just cleared Mounds 3:45pm has 3 CSX Gevo's up front, followed by UP 7984 & UP 8815, then has CSX 711 as a rear DPU, 6 units total on the train.

I should've posted sooner, today's Q311 came north through CP Mounds around 1:20pm, had CSX 3018 leader, BNSF 4051 H2, BNSF 7347 H3, CSX 3175 as a 4 unit lashup, monster train, lots of tank cars.

The autoracks are back in a strange sort of way. Q352 and Q353 both serve Honda now and head back north and travel the Toledo Branch, which is the same line as the Scottslawn but just the north side of ridgeway all the way to Toledo. Another good possibility of the southbound autorack could be Q131, it travels down the branch to ridgeway where it turns west, Q132 does the opposite. H708, the local on the Scottslawn has occasionally had a long string of autoracks for Honda as well. It had some about a week ago if I recall. There may be a few others as well that I’m missing that serve Honda but for now I don’t think any dedicated autorack trains come in or out, even though sometimes the train is only autoracks.

The Q131/132 are auto parts trains from Mexico-Detroit, should be all double stacks and maybe boxcars also. They do take the Toledo Branch north of Ridgeway, and will often have UP run through power on them.

The Scottslawn south end has been as busy as I can remember the last 24 hours. H708 came south yesterday heading back to Parsons around 12:30pm had CSX 8065 SD40 as power, the same power on it again today. Q311 came north at 2pm had CSX 3143 leader, then it was an extra parade all night. An N312 loaded Duke coal train came south 5:15pm, another extra came south 8pm sounded like a loaded grain train, then there might've been another extra behind it 9pm also came south.

Overnight while in bed I think I heard 2 more extras, which would've made 5 in 24 hours. Now today, the H708 with CSX 8065 went north 9am and must've went in a siding at Mounds or Willis, soon after Q310 came south CSX 7212 leader, and currently there is another N312-06 having PTC issues trying to get across NS at Camp to reach Parsons.

Sounds like tonight is a pretty busy night on the Scottslawn. Q311 is coming through late, went by Darby around 6:45pm. Q146 at the same time is heading through ridgeway on its way south while Q147 was leaving van yard waiting on Q311 to clear Darby and give up track. My guess is Q311 will meet Q146 at Willis siding in Marysville while Q147 will meet Q146 at Kile siding or the other way around. I believe the dispatcher said Q311 was quite long tonight as well. I also believe I saw an extra train head north today around 12:00pm, looked like maybe a grain train. There is a grain train in the heritage cooperative facility being loaded as of today. Also, CSX 8065 is no longer on H708, sounds like it’s now on H792 on the Columbus Sub. Saturday night H708 had 8065 and an SD70MACe so maybe the Mac is now the power for H708.

Incredibly busy day on the Scottslawn south end, an N312 came down I think after Noon, then I heard a horn at 1:45pm coming north assuming it was Q311, but instead it was an empty grain train had CSX 341 & 417 as power, may have been a V151 I heard mentioned on the scanner. Then around 4pm a very late Q310 came south, followed by Q311 going north with CSX 524 in YN2 paint and 581, had some 6 axle DODX flats tacked on the end of the train. Then just now yet another NB believe it was CSX 3382 leading a V772, so it was at least 5-6 trains through CP Mounds in daylight.

Edit I'm now hearing an N319 loaded coal I believe just met the V772 at Willis siding.

That is correct, the Coal train did in fact meet the grain train in Willis siding. I just barely missed getting stopped by the Coal train at Scottslawn Rd. I believe about an hour and a half afterwards I could hear a horn which I’m guessing was either Q146 or Q147, and about a half hour after that another horn. I kinda wondered what happened to Q310 yesterday, I went out after H708 yesterday morning and was hoping to catch Q310 but it never showed. H708 and Y103 did some sort of shuffle down by cold storage around mounds as well, H708 had to pick up cars from cold storage before Y103 could go down there and switch them.

That N319 also had a 2x1 power arrangement, midtrain DPU, that was definitely my first time seeing a DPU on CSX mid coal train

A heads up, I might've missed it or it still hasn't come north yet, but Q311 has UP power trailing and the last unit is UP 1845, an SD40N, very rare in the east, it led a Q348 last month all the way to Cumberland and must just now be heading back west.

I never did get the Q311 yesterday with the UP power, just didn't wanna sit in the rain waiting on it, mad I missed it though.

Today's Q311 went north around 3:45pm, was a massive land barge, maybe 150 cars including a cut of maybe 30 DODX flat cars again near the rear, only had 2 GE's as power, I was shocked. Now a V314 empty grain train just went north at 6pm.

Today's Q310 went east through Versailles, Ohio 9:45am, has CSX 3440 Spirit of Ravenna leading 2 EMD's, although the weather is terrible out.

CSX 9969 led the W003 Geometry train north through Mounds 4:30pm, they are running up to Ridgeway, not sure if they were tying down there or coming back south, so be on the lookout!
