The Snapple Railroad- The cloned puppet railroad of the Crescent Valley Railroad

Unread post by Derektrainman03 »

The year is 1993, the Snapple Railroad was created to haul it’s iconic iced tea from the upper parts of Maine, to the bustling city of Chicago, IL via the Moxie Corp Railroad. But it’s shipment goes via the Crescent Valley Railroad. The railroad was created by the Snapple company its self in the New England division to make a vital trading line to make its cargo ship by The CVRR, The WM&CC, and the MOXX. The Snapple Railroad only has 5 miles of track to which it interchanges with the MOXX in Bangor, ME. From there, MOXX local L-04 will take the train to the CVRR interchange at Claremont, MA. If the local was going towards the Snapple Railroad, the local would be signed as L-05. In ‘93, the power for the Snapple Railroad was 4 SW1500s numbered 900-903. By 2004, the railroad gained 2 GP38-2s from LTEX both 38s were former Rock Island units numbered 4353 and 4310. The railroad bought them, repainted them, repaired them, and renumbered to 7023 and 7022. The railroad is still operating to this day.
