NS 38J completed making their setout at the east end of Kalamazoo's Botsford Yard at 10AM. They were back on track 2 and had redone their airtest at 10:17PM. At that time they called BO Tower to inform them they were ready to depart west. At 10:18, the Silver Bullet (365) passed them heading westbound. At 10:20, 38J had a restricting signal at the 14-14 signal at the east end of the yard to crawl towards CP-Comstock as they might meet Amtrak 351 there.
Power today is as follows:
NS 2671 SD70M-2
NS 9772 D9-40CW
NS 9438 D9-40CW
NS 6676 SD60
There are a couple big 86' hi cubes right behind the locomotives.
As for Amtraks, 365 arrived into Kalamazoo at 10:22, 41 minutes late
351 is EST arrival at 10:38AM 14 minutes late (presently at Augusta)
I believe B-1-G spent the night somewhere west of Kalamazoo as they had a lot of work to do yesterday (Welch's at Lawton, National Copper at Dowagiac, Amtrak and Simplicity at Niles)
