Grand Elk north through Byron Center at 11:59am. WAMX 4190, WAMX 4017 and 8 cars (tank cars and boxcars)
Back south at 2:20pm, WAMX 4017 and 4190 with 26 cars.

Showering, conditioner in hair, hear a rumble. There goes Grand Elk north through Byron Center at 10:45am. WAMX 4190, WAMX 4206, and 16 cars.

Looks like southbound GDLK 303 is building their train. Same power as northbound.

GRE has at least 20 BNSF hoppers in Lowell, which arrived sometime before now.

Went south through Byron Center about 2:45pm, WAMX 4206, WAMX 4190, and 16 cars. 5 covered hoppers, 5 tank cars, and 3 boxcars.

Nothing random about that at all, that's the end of the Grand Rapids yard limits. They will often pull and wait there until they get the blocks to head south from the dispatcher.

Z151 is quite impressive today, MQT 2044, B&P 3345 and MQT 3567 leading. Getting close to Wyoming as of 11:40.

Z151 has 3 tracks to get cars from today. Unknown how many. 35 total cars from 19 and 21 tracks, unsure about the 3rd track

HESR 3865 (rail America scheme):hesr 3484 on 702 - flushing at 14:22 with 71 cars for Durand. 3390 is working a grain train assignment in the thumb later today.

Grand Elk blowing horns at 44th St and heaisng south at 6:15pm. Same power in reverse (?)

Grand Elk 303 @ 4:00 currently sitting at the round table with WAMX #4206 and WAMX #4190. There’s a lot more cars in Hughart Yard in Grand Rapids than last week.

CSX Y297 was working the GRE yard around 6:00pm. Left 10 or so hoppers.

Was south through Byron Center at 5:45, looked like wamx 4206 and 4190, 14 cars in tow, seen while on a walk around wetlands with kiddo.

Marquette Rail reported a train length of 3,938 ft long at 10:46am. He’s going to double up on track 27 and track 19 after setting off his cars at Grand Rapids Terminal
