Y121-29 @ 13:07 westward Pass Track to Main Track, Holland, Mi Depot mp CG25.3 with CSX engine #6137 & 5 empty cars (2 Hoppers + 3 Gons). He’ll go the Holland Depot signal & then back eastward to go westward into the Dock Track mp CG25.

L303-29 @ 13:39 eastward reported by the Defect Detector mp CH104.3 Mulliken, Mi with 20 axles. CSX engines #5496 + #5381 & 2 cars (1 load + 1 empty) @ 149 tons & 263 feet long. He has No work for Lansing.

L301 had gone into Waverly before he had headed westward to Harford & Sawyer. Usually don't know what his plans are until he is returning east from siding(s) he had worked west of Bangor.

Y121-29 @ 14:31 eastward Holland’s Dock Track diverging onto the Main Track at mp CG25.0 with CSX engine #6137 & 3 Gons with scrap. He'll back westward to the Holland Depot & then go back eastward into Holland's Pass Track.

L301 had gone into Waverly before he had headed westward to Harford & Sawyer. Usually don't know what his plans are when he returns east from Sawyer.

I had to re-phrase my original post about L301 going into Waverly on his return trip:

We usually don't know what his plans are until he is returning east from the siding(s) he had worked west of Bangor. We usually hear the Dispatcher calling L301 asking him where he's headed next but we may not hear L301's side of the conversation due to the radio reception in some areas west of Bangor.

A heads up for L302-29:

L302-29 @ 14:57 Rougemere Yard/Detroit job briefing with the RN Dispatcher: CSX engine #708(?) + #(??) & 58? cars (24? loads + 34? empties) @ 3,575 tons & 4,275 feet long. He’s building his train & has work for Lansing. I couldn't hear if he has a 2nd engine, I'll see what I can find in the scanner archives & edit this post.

Unfortunately, L302's stored info was skipping in the archives. The engines, car totals, tons & footage were also skipped over in the archives.

L302-29 @ 15:38 Conductor getting on board at P Company Jct mp CH8.7 & will be departing westward.

M510 with CSX 732 and HZRX 858 up front and mid-DPU CSX 7246 clear Plymouth - had a lot of cars for L302 on it.

HZRX 858 is for StoneCo in Lansing to replace…NIWX 539 which has been sitting out on the interchange for a couple of weeks now.

And they now use ex-NS B32-8s at their Lansing and Flint yards. They are leased from NIWX (Northern Illinois & Wisconsin Railway).

Y121-29 @ 16:18 on the Fremont sub-division mp CGC 26.0 reported having trouble keeping his engine (CSX #6137) running & is contacting the Mechanical Dept.

Y121-29 @ 16:26 contacted the Dispatcher saying they were advised the CSX #6137 is having internal engine problems & they're going to try to limp it back to Waverly - worst case scenario would be them leaving their train (not known if he has any cars) in the east leg of the Wye.

He didn't give any specifics of what's actually wrong with the engine & at 16:39 he called the Dispatcher & said it looks like they can nurse it back into Waverly.

L301-29 @ 18:00 eastward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG19.1 Zeeland, Mi with 42 axles. CSX engines #8066 (solo?) & 9 cars. Axle count doesn't support 2 engines & I am wondering if he left CSX engine #8199 in Holland for Y121 to use this week since Y121's engine (CSX #6137) was having mechanical issues today.

Or, the DD19.1 had a +2 axle count error and he has CSX engines #8066 + #8199 & 7 cars.

Turns out it was an axle count error. At 18:24 L301 had called Rouge saying he has 7 cars for Grand Rapids.

R597-29 @ 18:27 copied their EC1 to depart the power plant in West Olive, Mi mp CGP 1.0 & diverge onto the Fremont sub-div & head south to the Grand Rapids sub-div in Holland, Mi with BNSF engine #5619 & 129 empty coal cars & rear dpu BNSF engine #9390 & CSX engines #3293 + #3201 at the rear. He’ll take Grand Jct siding mp CG54 & tie down.

L302-29 over the DD at Fowlerville at 18:38 with 48 cars. 7008 (not 708 as reported earlier) 7008 was also on L302 paired with 435 on January 9th.

He’ll take Grand Jct siding mp CG54 & tie down. He had said in his Job Briefing he had 129 empty coal cars, defect detector indicates he has 130 cars.

Amtrak P370-29 @ 21:08 eastward reported by the Defect Detector mp CG91.9 St Joseph, Mi with 24 axles. IDTX engine #4603 & 5 cars.

Amtrak P370-29 @ 21:30 advised the Dispatcher he is stopped at mp CG84.9 due to a loss of power. The crew is trying to resolve the issue.
