Marquette Rail Z151-24 @ 12:45pm is going to double up from Track 23 and Track 41. It will take them a while to double up. Possibly another train is in their way. They are still in CSX Wyoming Yard

Grand Elk north through Byron Center at 1:58pm. WAMX 4125 and WAMX 4206 leading 11 cars.
I wonder if the sloworder or whatever reason they have been going so slowly by in the MP92 area for the past year has finally been lifted. Maybe they've changed it to just MP91 where there's been a pretty decent gap between the rails and they've bolted the rails together.

8:24pm HESR westbound from Bad Axe with three scrap gons for Tower/Autokiniton in Elkton. There were three loaded scrap gons waiting for them. My son and I captured the video at Grassmere Road.

Thank you for posting. It's nice to see Thumb activity. It seems that all other Tower locations have stopped any rail service. I wonder why this plant continues to ship by rail.

Grand Elk went by the Elkhart cam at 11:03am heading back to Kalamazoo with WAMX 4209 and WAMX 4189 leading 14 cars. A mix of box cars, covered hoppers, tank cars and a loaded center beam.

I can hear their horn from my house here in Kalamazoo. Perfectly clear and quiet night here on top of the hill so the sound is carrying well. It sounds like they are getting closer to Plainwell going by the time between horns.

Edit: it’s definitely a quiet night as I can hear the engines chugging along the tracks. It sounds like they are going across D Ave right now at 9:51pm.

Update on Grand Elk southbound @ 10:26 pm, not sure what happened to the train as I horn faint but distinctive horns were heard in the Wyoming Area
