ADBF-1 ran today. OD at 15:30 they went power light to MAC Blissfield to pull loaded grain cars to the NS interchange.

Z439-03 @ 12:07pm reported a restricted speed at Godfrey mp 0.99 with WAMX #4190

DCON running today. First time in over a week since a power pole fell early last week in a windstorm.

E&LS reportedly derailed in Menominee near the engine house today with six cars on the ground.

Grand Elk north through Byron Center at 3:04pm. WAMX 4125 and WAMX 4189 with 3 tank cars and 2 covered hoppers.

As of 5:20pm, grand elk was parked here in Kalamazoo. Said GDLK was stopped here on the crossing. Friend text me this pic, complaining.

I believe I "heard" a very faint GDLK horn in the distance at 5:54 pm. Possibly southbound by the Wyoming area, no visual

Righto Andy. Saw the gates going down on 84th for GDLK southbound at 6:05pm. Wasn't close enough to see the train though.

I don’t think this is the same train but I was downtown at my old apartment helping my father in law do some work to the house and as we were getting done at 5:20pm or so I caught this train go by. The tracks run right behind the house as the house is across from the Kalamazoo KIK pool by Bronson. WAMX 4002 and WAMX 3808 leading 18 cars back towards Kalamazoo.

The Elk was just approaching Plainwell from the north a bit before 8:00 PM. I know they needed to pick up the Otsego boxcars before proceeding.

They had 17-18 box cars on the property at the paper plant yesterday when I took my son for a ride. I drive into Otsego and Plainwell on a little loop back to my house and I always drive by the paper plant and then into Plainwell by Old Mill.

Z439-04 @ 12:14 heading eastbound at Godfrey Ave mp 0.99 with WAMX #3531 + WAMX #3534 and 21 cars (15 loaded tankers, 4 boxcars, 1 cement car and 1 coil car). They are heading back to Hughart Yard in Grand Rapids.

No. They pick up from NS overnight.

Last night they ran North instead working CSX, CN, and then left the train in Ensel for the next crew to start and head south. Tonight they will go to Jackson.

Grand Elk north through Byron Center at 4:30pm. WAMX 4125, WAMX 4189, and 31 cars. 2 tank cars up front, then a line of covered hoppers, some boxcars, 3 open gons, and couple more tank cars and boxcars at the rear.
