Evidently Lansing RailFan is not old enough to have traveled into Western Maryland country at least once if not muliple times as I have years ago to see and appreciate not only the black and gold WM paint, but the red and white as well. Have seen many models of long ago locomotives in both schemes such as on GP7, GP9, F7A, F7B, Alco RS3 and even BL2 units and more. Now that I am an old man with not long to live, I was ecstatic to hear that one of the units that Georges Creek purchased and repainted back to the black and gold scheme would be coming to Owosso for this past year Santa trains and would be seeing it again was something I never thought would occur. I am looking forward to seeing it return through Howell in a day or two as well. To each his own I guess, but to hear someone call this WM as ugly junk, has not lived in the "good old days".

Evidently Lansing RailFan is not old enough to have traveled into Western Maryland country at least once if not muliple times as I have years ago to see and appreciate not only the black and gold WM paint, but the red and white as well.
