Z151-23 @ 10:40am copying an EC1 at CGE 3.6 Turner Ave to proceed southbound. They also copied an EC1 for Crossing Failure malfunction at CGE 2.8 Broadway Ave. MQT #3389 + MQT #3406 + MQT #3408 + x cars

As I drove back south pass Hughart Yard at 1:15pm, noticed WAMX 3531 or 3534 connected to WAMX #4189 on the tracks.

Broadway Ave? That road hasn’t crossed the railroad tracks since the 80s, and it crossed the GTW not the C&O. No wonder they have a crossing malfunction, because it doesn’t exist!

I did but by the time I was able to post this I had forgotten what they were. There was 2 of them, a geep without dynamic brakes (1022 sticks out in my head but that’s probably wrong. The last digit for sure was a 2 lol) and one of the LTEX Ex-UP SD60Ms pulling about 25 cars. I was in a cellular dead zone due to the weather knocking out practically everything in Flat Rock the other day.

MQT NB at Turner Ave around 1:00 with 3 engines and around 40 cars. One tank had QLF on it, so probably for Comstock Park. Lead engine sounded like the former GRE (missed the number).

It was a mix of cars, literally a little bit of everything except for auto racks and I’m pretty sure most, if not all were empty.

I copied what the Dispatcher stated to Z151 over the scanner and I didn’t hear wrong either. 2nd crossing failure I’ve heard for Z151.

I have looked up CGE 2.8 and it comes to Ann St by Fuller Junction.

Grand Elk heard in the distance around 50th St at 9:39pm.

Multiple horns heard at 9:41pm around 54th St now. Definitely a train horn. Rare weekend train run? Or a Grand Elk switcher job

Z151-28 @ 12:20pm coming into CSX Wyoming Yard with 4 SD40s and about 70-100 cars. Saw them heading around the Wye in GR

Same consist north at 1:00pm. First 10ish appeared to be empty grain hoppers, with a couple boxcars, and an empty centerbeam on the rear.

Back south at 3:38pm with 4124 4125 and 10ish cars.
