Heard night crew return to Cadillac at 0445. Not sure if two crews are back for good up here.
Are there two sets of engines in Cadillac, or are they sharing the same power?

Petoskey run today. That's all the info I have at the moment.
I watched a video of GLC NB through Alba on January 10th. The last two cars appear to be cement hoppers. The second to last car carried the reporting marks of Lone Star Industries (LCEX) which is the parent of Buzzi Uni Chem. I assume the two cars were dropped off in Elmira.

Observation from Owosso this morning as I was passing through. 390 appeared to be hooking up to the Western Maryland painted leased unit at SRI,perhaps GLC is leasing it now? Or guess it could be returning home also.

Sorry, I totally forgot to add that. They were southbound at the time. I’m used to the train ID also giving the direction of travel away at the same time (I live along CSX).

GLC stopped at barron rd before Howell, MI.

Law enforcement at the crossing with lights on.

*Edit: GLC is on the move again, looks like they must have hit a vehicle, one of the ditch lights is damaged

My RR spy's tell me he saw a soil boring truck at US 131 and Alba rd. on the GLC tracks just off the rd. I've used this kind of service for testing the soil for it's capacity to hold a tall radio tower. I wonder what they were up to with this test?

The state is going to install railroad flashers at the Alba Highway & US131 intersection. It includes a stop light on US131 so when the train is approaching, the traffic can clear the tracks. There has been numerous close calls with traffic blocking the tracks because of traffic on 131 going by.
