An entire train of loaded Amtrak neon green ballast hoopers just went by me at Cassandra, PA. This is heading for the AML, two NS AC44C6M's for power.
Recrewing in Wayne at 09:45. NS 60M with NS 4392/NS 4064.

Also Train 30 caught up in the same mess.

Between the two trains, Amtrak’s Twitter blamed a trespasser incident, track work and a disabled freight train. So yeah, nice.

They also nuked train 352 today on the Amtrak-owned segment of the Michigan Line for a “bridge inspection”. That ones got me confused as to how that would happen, unless they found a condition unsafe to pass potentially??

Must have been a change of plans. I saw the train westbound at Elkhart IN about 21:27

Perhaps truck strike on an overpass?

350 had two Chargers back to back leading and three extra cars on the rear, Amtrak business or inspection cars, including a doubledecker. Passed MP 22.5 on the Holly on CN at 2:45 pm, about 45 minutes behind schedule.

What do you mean by a double decker? A Superliner? That seems strange. Maybe a Viewliner with a second set of windows?

That's one idea...but then I'd figure they'd just say that was the case? At least that would make it clear that it wasn't their fault, if that was indeed the case.

Amtrak 07T (NS symbol for Amtrak 43) tonight has P42 #118, a baggage and 5 amfleets. Left NYC an hour late due to the Port Newark bridge getting stuck down.

350 is currently scheduled to depart Pontiac at 7:46 am, two hours late. Around 5 am I heard what sounded like a NB Amtrak train going by my house so wonder if something happened last night to delay both 352 and 354 into Pontiac?

Edit: 351 left Pontiac about an hour and a half late this morning. I saw that 355 was four hours late arriving Ann Arbor last night, it had equipment troubles in Detroit. I wonder if it was the Charter cars on the train? And I saw that 354 was tied up for hours in Battle Creek due to freight congestion and having to have an unscheduled crew change. So bad night last night for Amtrak.

353 as of now is scheduled to leave Pontiac on time.

355 on Sat the 13th lost 4 .5 hrs setting off the two Charter Wire cars off at Livernois Yard. Not sure why they were bad ordered. Are the cars still there? Wonder how the car owner arranges for repairs(Livernois is on CR Shared Assets) and movet to a location where Amtrak can pick them up?

Blame it on CN! They had them last!

I don't know what the bad order was either. To me, It would seem like it's kind of a rare thing for a PV to be bad-ordered since Amtrak heavily scrutinizes maintenance of those cars. Maybe Buster can explain.
