M327-12 @ 09:25 the CSXT #261's radio isn't functioning & was advised by Dispatch they cannot rely on a portable radio (walkie-talkie) as their primary source for communication. Per the Dispatcher, Y121 has 2 bad engines in tow & he is wondering if perhaps one of those engine's radio can be swapped out. They are going to continue with doubling up their train - the crew's side of the conversation isn't being heard by the on-line scanner.
