GLC ostn picked up a CSX system grainer for The Andersons- Oakley last night from AARR. NB thru Durand shortly after midnight.

Not sure if anybody noticed but GLC dumped a grain train on the Middleton Branch again over the weekend. Roughly in the same area as the previous one. Not sure if it was a shuttle or a regular unit train.

I saw some drone video of it posted online. This is the first mention of it I have seen on RRFan. There was no article associated with the video I saw. So not much info to share.

ONTN clear Alma with 393 and 392 plus roughly a dozen cars.

They had a 106 car train loaded w corn out of MAC Middleton. Cars 96-99 tipped over just west of Blair Road between Ashley and 127.

Cars 1-95 continued to Durand where they were set out for CN to be picked up. Train symbol on CN was WB G884 that turned SB in Chicago and ran down the IC to New Orleans.

00:20 - GLC Z624 northbound asking permission onto CSX's track at Ann Pere.
01:51 - GLC Z624 finishing up their work at Ann Pere, transfer switch normalled and derail set.

They sandwiched their power (386, 385, and 390) between 50 cars to be left in the siding and my count of 79 cars to be taken. I would guess 2-3 car lengths between Lucy Rd. and Dearborn St. Copied from my post in the July 2022 CSX Train Locations thread.

I'd love to know how many cars they have returning to Durand this morning.
