HESR 2144 is working Durand yard, it’s at the North end of the yard lite engine.

JAIL ran overnight with a long train for CSX and CN. 1751/1760 currently parked at EE Ensel fkr the day.

There is a fire on the south side of Kalamazoo Street in Lansing right between the CSX and JAIL tracks and the whole area is closed off. I presume this will also affect CSX traffic for a while today.

SB CSX grain train sitting in Wixom Yard, lead engine CSXT 596 going long hood forward.

Grand Elk North through Byron Center at 5:13pm. Wamx 4125, 4124, wamx 4209 and approx 67 cars. Mostly tank cars with some boxcars and covered hoppers, plus a loaded centerbeam likely for L&W supply. Left for a week and no GDLK coverage here

Back south at 8:50pm. 4206, 4124, 4125 and about 20 cars.

HESR 702 the rocket enters Durand at 15:20 and uses the PH Wye to back into Durand Yard.

Back south at 9:43pm with 2 locos and approx 53 cars.

Got this alert from the Novi PD tonight around 5:15 pm.

"Alert: 10 Mile Rd is closed at the RR tracks, between Novi & Meadowbrook due to a disabled train"

There was a green signal SB at 9 Mile Road when I crossed around 6 pm and later around 9 pm.

5483 and 6356 leading NB mixed freight through Novi at 13:36.

Grand elk North through Byron Center at 5:19pm. Wamx 4125;4124 and 50ish cars

Back south at 9:15pm with WAMX 3534, 2 more locos, and 15 cars. Hadn't seen 3534 in a looooooong time. Must be done with it's rewiring job in GR.

Grand Elk north through Byron Center at 4:39pm. WAMX 4125, WAMX 4124, with 7 cars. 6 boxcars and a covered hopper.

Back south at 7:43pm with wamx 4124, wamx 4125 and approx 17 cars.

JAIL currently working Padnos. Will go to CN interchange next before heading north on the old LMRR back to CSX/Ensel. it looks like they have a car for Ambassador Steel as well which is a SB switch.

11:15 - JAIL at CN interchange after bringing loaded scrap gons from Padnos to CN.

11:33 - JAIL is NB across E Michigan ave after working CN.

11:55 - JAIL is shoving empty gons into Padnos. They can switch them on the NB or the SB run. pretty handy dandy. Looks like Padnos has done some trackwork on their house tracks recently.

Grand Elk north through Byron Center at 4:28pm. WAMX 4125, WAMX 4124, and approx 65 cars. Vast majority were tank cars.

JAIL ran last night to Jackson.

DCON ran today in Detroit.

ADBF continued to work a unit grain train for Blissfield MAC.

There’s a good sized cut of cars for JAIL in Ensel so I’d expect a NB run overnight.
