D70604 by Howell at 08:10. 235-261 on the head end which was a surprise because I had not yet Toms's report on this. Did not get a car, or axel count but must have been 100 or more. Was told Fly Ash cars in their train were going to West Virginia if I heard right. Is the Fly Ash business via Ann Pere now over?

From what I understand they finished in November on time. Some of the cars have had their tops removed and shipped elsewhere.

There was a photo on Facebook of a flat bed semi with the ecofab tops stacked and tied down. I wonder if they are being sorted out and shipped in blocks by number to new customers.

Either way, many are tagged with “Muskegon” in some way or another so we should see them ply the rails and be reminded fondly of our time together. Praise be.

Side note question, doesn’t LSRC have a lot of these types of cars stored on those old spurs leading to the Alabaster dock?
