EB by mp205 with CN #3899 + IC #2521 at 11:13

A slow-going hi-rail WB by mp205 at 12:03 at 12:03. Looked like it has some sort of flat with small axles - which appeared to be a couple rails. Can't recall seeing something like it before.

Hey Lansing Railfan,

I read earlier that a M356 went South on the Holly Sub this morning (11/30).

I heard a horn this morning but it was foggy. What was this train and where was it headed? I have not heard this symbol before.

Thanks.

I’m not LRF but 356 terminates in flat rock, it’s general manifest, basically like an E251 but running south instead of north

Hello David Collins,

I've lived in Linden for about 2 years now and have not heard of symbol M356, interesting.

I hope we see more of this train, will have to keep my eye out for it, thanks for the information.

I just heard there was a car/train accident in Richmond the other day. Was that posted here? It seems an elderly person turned on the tracks and got stuck. They were able to get the person out before the train hit the car. Apparently there is a video of the incident.

Happened yesterday evening. A485 nailed her vehicle near Main street (she bailed out and ran as fast as her 73 year old legs could go), but luckily, made it without serious injury. I think her SUV is going to car heaven though by the looks of it. Well lit area, rails crossing the road, and gates and signals and multiple signs might be an indication that this is not a public street. Could have been a lot worse.
